So the official BABYMETAL website just announced the next concert would be held at the Saitama Super Arena on January 10th, 2015.

*There are 2 configurations for the arena a 20k config and the full 36k config, BM might not use the full capacity.

On October 20 and 21, 2006 American superstar Mariah Carey performerd two sold-out shows in the arena during her The Adventures of Mimi tour.

On October 4, 2008 the arena hosted Radiohead’s live concert broadcast on Japanese WOWOW.

On February 9 and 10, 2009, the arena hosted a concert for British alternative rock band Coldplay on their Viva la Vida Tour.

On January 9, 2010 the arena hosted the rock band Nightmare’s 10th anniversary concert.

On January 23 and 24, 2010 the arena hosted Green Day as part of their 21st Century Breakdown World Tour. Green Day taped the show for their new live album titled Awesome as Fuck, released on March 22, 2011.

Luna Sea performed their October 22, 2011 charity concert, “Luna Sea for Japan “A Promise to the Brave””, at the arena. Tickets sold out in five minutes.

On September 10 and 11, 2011 the arena hosted L’Arc~en~Ciel as part of their 20th L’Anniversary TOUR

On Christmas Day, December 25, 2011, Momoiro Clover Z performed to a sold-out crowd of 10,000, their largest to date.

On February 4 and 5, 2012 Avril Lavigne performed to a sold-out crowd of over 35,000.

On May 10, 12 and 13, 2012 Lady Gaga performed three sold-out dates during her Born This Way Ball Tour to over 96,000 fans.

On June 28–29 2014, nine-member K-Pop group Girls’ Generation performed for their Girls’ Generation Japan 3rd Tour 2014.
