A Japanese athlete, Takuya Haneda who is also a fellow BABYMETAL fan (he even went to Rock In Vienna) took the 3rd place in Men’s Canadian Single Canoe Slalom In Rio 2016 Olympic, and he became the first Japanese to stand at the winner’s podium. Takuya has spoken with joy, “I don’t think anyone would have expected that Japan took a medal from this competition. It feels great to finally accomplish it. Without making any significant mistake during qualification, semi-final and final, it was my best performance of all of my sports life.”
